A coordination meeting was held at Körfez Chamber of Commerce with the participation of the 4th (Industrial Products / Mechanical) and 14th (Electricity, Natural Gas, Insulation and Test Systems) Vocational Committee members and Ferit Artkın, Vice President of the Mechanical Department of Hereke Asım Kocabıyık Vocational School and Gülten Yılmaz, Head of the Electronics and Automation Department. At the meeting, the importance of vocational education was emphasised and the cooperation activities to be carried out within the scope of the IME (Workplace Vocational Education) programme of the college were discussed. In addition, ideas were exchanged about the "Career Day" event where the member companies of the Körfez Chamber of Commerce and higher education students will meet in the coming period. While the officials of the Körfez Chamber of Commerce pointed out that strengthening vocational education is of great importance in terms of both the career journey of young people and meeting the qualified labour force needs of the region; expressed satisfaction with being in cooperation with educational institutions and stated that these collaborations are believed to offer new opportunities to young people.
