Korfez Chamber of Commerce Chairman Recep Öztürk made a statement after the decisions regarding the full lockdown, which came into force as from April 29 and said, "Required supports should be provided to the markets." at the cabinet meeting.

Öztürk said that the implementation of the full lockdown was a proper decision in his statements, "But also emphasized that urgent decisions should be taken regarding additional measures that need to be implemented." and by stating that it is vital for the business world to provide the necessary support to the markets after the decision to close completely, Öztürk said, “We demand that our government postpone all tax SSI, loan repayments and invoice payments to the state so that the business world does not experience losses and the wheels of the economy can turn again in this 20-day period. In addition, check payments should be postponed, but interest-free loan support should be provided for business owners who cannot collect their receivables in return."
