Körfez Chamber of Commerce aims to meet the need for workforce in the field of transportation, one of the locomotive sectors of the region, with the theme of employment guaranteed training program determined within the scope of projects and activities to be carried out within the framework of the Result-Oriented Program for the Development of Vocational and Technical Education supported by MARKA. The first protocol of this important project was signed with the participation of Körfez Chamber of Commerce Chairman Recep Öztürk and MARKA Secretary General Mustafa Çöpoğlu.

The project will be carried out within the Körfez Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Körfez Chamber of Commerce and MARKA. Personnel who are under 35 years of age and have no insurance record in İŞKUR will receive training in line with the current needs of the sector, accompanied by mentors consisting of representatives of the necessary institutions. In this way, employment of qualified labor force will be ensured and a solution will be produced to the employment problem of the region.

Among the areas to be focused on in the project are the employment of construction equipment operators and truck drivers. While 19 people are planned to be employed in the first phase, a special emphasis will be placed on the employment of women in the future. Thus, the labor force need in the region will be met more effectively.

Such collaborations contribute to the development of the region and constitute an important step in enriching qualified human resources. The fact that the Gulf Chamber of Commerce plays a leading role in this project in cooperation with MARKA is considered as an important step towards eliminating the lack of highly qualified labor force in the region.
