The June Assembly Meeting of the Korfez Chamber of Commerce was held under the leaderships of Chairman of the Assembly Güngör Ayhan. The assembly meeting was held face-to-face for the first time after 16 months. 

The June Assembly Meeting of the Korfez Chamber of Commerce was held under the leaderships of Chairman of the Assembly Güngör Ayhan. The assembly meeting was held face-to-face for the first time after 16 months. After the assembly meeting which started with a cocktail before the assembly, chamber organ members met at dinner.

ÖZTÜRK ‘’ THIS PANDEMIC WAS COMPELLING AND ADVANTAGEOUS FOR SOME SECTORS DEPENDING ON THEIR FIELD. ’’

Referring to the chamber activities and country's agenda at the assembly meeting, Recep Öztürk who is the President of Korfez Chamber of Commerce said, "Our agenda is obvious for about 1.5 yeras. This virus became our whole agenda and created new agendas about itself consistently. Specially for some sectors, it was challenging while for some other sectors it was an oppornutiy.  Accretion and export figures are the best indicator for this, but in short, it was a lesson for whole world. I hope we can learn something from this lesson and we can look ahead. As you know, after the 17 days of full lockdown, we have switched to gradual normalization as of June 1st. Hopefully, we will return to normal working plan as of July and as all citizens, we will pull our weight and will get rid of this coronavirus disease."

IT WAS AN ASSEMBLY FULL OF SPEECHES AND PRESENTATIONS

 The academic advisor of Turkish union of Chambers and Exchange Commodities Meliha Akay Kocabaş who did a briefing presentation at the assembly meeting of Korfez Chamber of Commerce, while sharing the Kocaeli's economic datas with the assembly members, the advanageous and disdvantageous issues of Kocaeli were shared with the chamber organ members in detail. Also, at the assembly meeting, while Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Rural Agriculture and Aromatic Plants Province Coordinator Abdullah Köktürk doing his greeting speech, Member of the Executive Committee of Korfez Chamber of Commerce Ayşe Hacet Aşar did a presenation about the sale of handmade products.

THEY MET AT DINNER AFTER THE ASSEMBLY MEETING

While June Assembly Meeting of Korfez Chamber of Commerce was held face-to-face for the first time after 16 months, after the assembly meeting, members of chamber organ met at dinner. At the dinner which was very pleasant, President of Assembly Güngör Ayhan and chairman of the board Recep Öztürk had one-on-one conversations with chamber organ members.
