Effective Communication Training from KOU and KTO

Dr. Faculty Member from Kocaeli University and TOBB Academic Advisor Mehlika Kocabaş Akay held a training seminar on "The Secret of Success at Work: Effective Communication" training seminar.

At the beginning of the training, the importance of presentation and effective communication was emphasized and the participants were given detailed information on the definition of presentation and how effective presentation should be. Points to be considered during the preparation phase of the presentation, content planning and presentation techniques were emphasized. Participants were given tips on how to turn the fear experienced before the presentation into an advantage. By managing fear correctly, it was aimed to attract more attention of the participants during the presentation and to ensure effective communication. The training also covered the selection of appropriate clothing and how to behave during the presentation. Participants were given suggestions to ensure a professional appearance and confidence. Finally, the secrets of effective communication and the communication skills that underlie success in the workplace were emphasized. Topics such as empathizing, active listening and the importance of body language were discussed in detail.

The training, which emphasized that the way to success in the business world is through effective communication, was completed on Friday, April 26, 2024, by presenting participation certificates to the participants.
