CONSTRUCTION COMMITTEES CONSULTATION MEETING HELD

The Construction Committees Consultation Meeting was held with the participation of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality and Körfez Municipality.

The meeting was attended by Aykut Bozkurt, Chairman of the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Planning Commission, commission members Murat Kılıç and Sedat Kul, Serkan Yeğnidemir, Deputy Mayor of Körfez Municipality, and Şenol Çakır, Director of Planning and Urban Development at Körfez Municipality.

The meeting addressed current issues of close interest to the construction sector and provided an opportunity for mutual exchange of views between sector representatives and local government officials. The programme included a detailed assessment of urban transformation planning notes, planning regulations concerning attic floors, and the challenges faced by the sector along with proposed solutions.

It was stated that the meeting, where participants had the opportunity to directly convey their views and suggestions, was productive in terms of communicating the sector's current needs and expectations to the relevant institutions. The meeting concluded with the sharing of wishes and hopes.

It is aimed to continue holding consultation meetings that will contribute to the development of the construction sector in the coming period.
