Construction and Zoning Meeting at Körfez Chamber of Commerce

An important meeting was held at the Körfez Chamber of Commerce where representatives of the construction, zoning and building control sector came together. Mayor of Körfez Municipality Şener Söğüt, Deputy Mayor Serkan Yeğnidemir and relevant department managers attended the meeting and had the opportunity to listen to the current problems of the sector and discuss solutions.

At the meeting hosted by Recep Öztürk, President of the Körfez Chamber of Commerce, the participants expressed the difficulties they face in the sector and conveyed their demands regarding structural problems and bureaucratic processes that need to be improved. Referring to the rapidly changing dynamics in the construction sector, especially the license processes and building inspection issues, Şener Söğüt stated that the municipality will take the necessary steps to further improve these processes. “Receiving the opinions of sector representatives enables us to develop faster solutions to problems,” Söğüt said, emphasizing the importance of cooperation.

Deputy Mayor Serkan Yeğnidemir stated that the suggestions that emerged at the meeting will be evaluated and this process will be made continuous. Innovative approaches were emphasized to make building control and zoning processes more efficient.

Sector representatives emphasized that such meetings should continue to increase and that a stronger infrastructure can be created through cooperation and that an important step has been taken in the development of the Korfez. The meeting provided a productive communication environment among the participants.
